Blue Lagoon silk painting inspiration came from our visit to Island this summer. Light blue white colour of the hot spring made a vivid impression in my mind. Mesmerizing dark blue colour of the arctic water is mixed with sad feelings seeing the brown and grey dirt on a gigantic iceberg. I think I wanted to visit Island just to have a glimpse in my memory of the icebergs floating in a sea. What I saw made me truly understand the negative impact of the pollution and reminded me of brave people working day and night on saving the environment.
Yellow colour comes from a nice sunny days. Green grass pastured by goats and horses felt like this world belonged to them.
